Adjustable nozzle screwed up restricting flow, excessive restriction in nozzle or hose or nozzle size too small. Also the spray gun maybe be blocked by chemical for example, also check that everything for flow side of the pump is not blocked. Pump is pulsing as cannot disperse enough fluid quickly enough to match the flow specs of the pump.
