A new style of a hand-held spray gun that has a better performance, including enhanced ergonomic characteristics that favour its use has just been released by Silvan Australia.
Designated as the Silvan Tommy Gun it is designed for applications where a target up to 25 metres distance needs to be reached giving the new gun many uses including tree spraying, watering, for firefighting units or general wash-down or cleaning up plant and buildings in agricultural or industrial situations like cleaning chock sheds.
The spray pattern is easily adjusted by using the adjustable hand piece to select the spray pattern that allows either a narrow stream of water to a diffuse spray.
The comfort for the user is further enhanced by an on-off trigger lock incorporated in the ergonomically designed hand piece.
The nozzle is a tough tungsten hard wearing material and the Silvan Tommy Gun is supplied with two nozzles of either 1.5 or 2.5 mm in diameter.
With a half inch BSP male thread the gun is designed for use with 12.5 mm inside diameter hoses and operates to a maximum pressure of 50 bar or 725 psi.
The Silvan Tommy Gun is 570 mm in length and weighs only 1.7 kg.
The Silvan Tommy Gun is an ideal enhancement to existing pump or distribution systems where a higher, more accurately targeted or comfortable to use hand gun is sought.
